Visualisation, you have most likely heard this term being used many times before, but what is it? What does this actually mean? And how can it help us? Visualisation is something we all partake in, literally every day. The question we have to ask ourselves is; ‘Am I using it in a way that serves me?’

All highly successful people utilise visualisation even if they are unconsciously aware they are doing it, we call these individuals unconscious competent’s. So how do we become consciously competent? The answer is very simple, by consciously choosing and deliberately guiding your mind toward the direction you want it to go rather than letting the outside environment or your past results control you. This takes practice, discipline and repetition.

I am grateful to be on a flight right now to Canada to spend another few days with my mentor Bob Proctor and it has allowed me to dig really deep into this amazing timeless classic written by Genevieve Behrend, Your Invisible Power.’  Genevieve was the one and only pupil of Thomas Troward (a genius who really understood the power of the mind), and she does an absolutely phenomenal job at giving us a deeper understanding of the Law of Visualisation. I can honestly say if you can really gain an understanding of this law you will be miles ahead of the rest and well on your way to becoming a powerful conscious competent. That is pretty amazing if you ask me!

You see, we think in pictures; let me give you an example. Im going to fire off a few words and you will see how quickly the pictures flash onto the screen of your mind when you’re reading them. Tiger, fridge, moon, grasshopper, watermelon, spoon. Each one of those words have cells of recognition in your brain and as soon as those cells are activated the image flashes on the screen of your mind. You want to develop cells of recognition or a picture of you having achieved the goal you are aiming for. You can do this using the technique of creative visualisation outlined in this book.

Final Words about Your Invisible Power

This book clearly explains how our results in life are the effects of our habitual thought patterns. So we must start guiding our habitual though patterns where we actually want them to go, to achieve the wonderful Results we want to have. It’s important to know that when we are using Visualisation in an effective manner, we bring order to our mind by consciously forming pictures of what WE want.

I just love the way the author uses real life stories as examples to expand on what she is teaching. This makes it so easy to understand and so practical to apply in every day life.

Once I picked up this book, I couldn’t put it back down. I warn you, it’s addictive. In fact I am going to read it all over again right now and study it even deeper. It is one of my favourites!

No book shelf is complete without “Your Invisible Power”. Buy it from our bookstore here. You will be glad you did.

Highly recommended!
